Sports division Toyota - Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) - introduced a hatchback Yaris, prepared to participate in the rally. It is on this car the Japanese automaker plans to return to the WRC next year. The car will receive a turbocharged 1.33-liter engine, the modified transmission and exhaust system. Inside, there was a roll cage and racing buckets. Also, engineers have installed a new suspension and made the protection of the fuel tank and line.

The car will participate in the category R1A and get homologation at the end of the year. Price rally, "Yaris" was 22.5 thousand euros.
